Compound Overview
KRAS-G12D Inhibitor (BAY 3771249) is a selective inhibitor of the KRAS-G12D mutant protein, a driver of oncogenic signaling in multiple tumor types.1 The KRAS-G12D mutation results in constitutive activation of KRAS-mediated signaling pathways that promote tumor cell proliferation and survival.2 By selectively targeting the mutant KRAS-G12D protein, KRAS-G12D Inhibitor (BAY 3771249) is designed to inhibit downstream signaling through pathways such as MAPK, thereby suppressing tumor growth in cancers harboring this mutation.2
This targeted approach is being investigated in tumors commonly associated with KRAS-G12D alterations, including pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, colorectal cancer, and non–small cell lung cancer.1
