Compound Overview
Larotrectinib is a tropomyosin receptor kinase (TRK) inhibitor that results in ligand-independent, constitutive activation of TRK receptor signaling. Larotrectinib exhibits anti-tumor activity through blockade of constitutive TRK signaling and the resulting overstimulation of downstream pathways involved in cell growth and survival.1,2
Larotrectinib is being investigated in adults and children for the treatment of patients with cancers that harbor an NTRK gene fusion.3
Please note: there will be no new interventional studies with larotrectinib.
