Compound Overview
Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is a transmembrane protein that is overexpressed in prostate cancer cells at all stages of the disease.1 Targeted alpha therapy is a potent and selective anticancer treatment approach that delivers highly ionizing alpha particle radiation to tumor cells and the tumor microenvironment, leading to anti-tumor activity while limiting exposure to surrounding normal tissue.2,3
225Ac felivotide mopaxetan (225Ac-PSMA-Trillium) (BAY 3563254) is a next-generation, small-molecule approach targeting PSMA that has the potential to provide a differentiated efficacy and safety profile due to its unique design.4 It is currently under phase I clinical investigation in patients with advanced metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.5-7
